Why can’t I upload via FTP?
Most FTP clients make multiple connections to upload 2 or more files at the same time. The OzHosting.com FTP servers only allow One Connection at a time. Some FTP Clients will report File Transfer Failures when they try to make multiple connections.
Why are my Uploads so Slow?
Most FTP clients make multiple connections to upload 2 or more files at the same time. The OzHosting.com FTP servers only allow One Connection at a time. Some FTP Clients will start limiting speeds per connection on the assumption that the server is struggling to handle the data load.
You may also increase your Upload speed limit from within some FTP Clients. A limit of 100kb/sec or higher will greatly decrease your Upload Time.
How do I fix this error?
You will need to modify the Configuration of your FTP Client to use only One connection during Upload. The method to do this will be different for each FTP Client that you use. You will need to consult the documentation for your FTP Client.
