What Methods are there for Applying Junk Mail Filters?
• From within Outlook – used only with Managed Exchange Mailboxes
• From within the Outlook Web Access interface
How to Setup a Rule in the Outlook Web Access interface
1. Navigate to https://outlook.ozhosting.com

2. Login and Click Options in the Top Right of the page

3. Click Junk Email

4. You can Enable or Disable Junk Email filtering from this page.
5. You also have the following options:
a. Safe Senders List
E-mail from e-mail addresses in your Safe Senders List will never be treated as junk e-mail. You can include e-mail addresses or entire domain names in this list.
b. Blocked Senders List
E-mail from e-mail addresses or domain names on your Blocked Senders List will always be treated as junk e-mail.
c. Safe Recipients List
E-mail that is sent to e-mail addresses or domain names in your Safe Recipients List will never be treated as junk e-mail.
Never include your own e-mail address in this list.
6. There is also the option to treat all email as Junk unless it is on the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients list. This is called Whitelist Spam Protection. It will significantly reduce your Spam totals but will restrict your ability to receive email from new addresses.
